Kero One is set to release a new album in the near future, but he is using a very unique way to do so. Instead of releasing music the traditional way, Kero One will be using Kickstarter.com in order to back his album, “Color Theory.”

For those unfamiliar with Kickstarter, the site is a “new all-or-nothing funding method where projects must be fully-funded or no money changes hands.”

Therefore, Kero One is looking to raise $10,000 in the next 30 days to help fund his new album. Those who do donate will not be unnoticed! Depending on the pledge amount, those who donate will be given different rewards such as CDs and digital copies of “Color Theory,” t-shirts, records, and more!

There is 28-days left and Kero One has raised $1,652 so far! Help Kero One out here and help back his project!

SM Entertainment girl group f(x) is getting ready to make their comeback in the Korean music industry.

Last year in June, f(x) released their hit 1st repackaged album, “Hot Summer,” and since ending their promotions for “Hot Summer,” the group has been busy with individual and overseas activities.

A year after the release of their last album, the group is set to release a new one this year. On May 31st, an SM Entertainment official said, “f(x)’s album release isn’t too far away.”

The official continues, “Currently, the f(x) members are gearing up for their comeback, we will release the good news soon.”

“You can expect their comeback to be in June or July. The album is currently being processed and is almost ready.” The SM official did not go into further details regarding f(x)’s comeback concept nor revealed further information on the album.

Meanwhile, f(x)’s Amber is busy with KBS 2TV’s “Invincible Youth 2.” f(x) also recently participated in the first leg of SMTOWN’s 3rd world tour in Anaheim at the Honda Center last weekend.

SS501’s Kim Kyujong has announced through his official website that he will be entering the military this July to fulfill his 2 years mandatory services.

Kim Kyujong left a handwritten letter to his fans, which spoke of his entrance into the military this July as well as giving his gratitude to fans. He starts off with, “Hello, this is Kim Kyujong,” and tells fans that he’s sorry.

“As I’ve always said, time travels fast, doesn’t it? It feels as if I’ve made my debut yesterday, but it’s already June 2012. Have you done everything you’ve planned yet? It’s not too late to fulfill your plans, fighting!” he writes.

“This is the first time I’ve written to you in so long. The reason I am writing this is because I am enlisting [in the military] in July. I personally wanted to announce this to you. I am very happy, and due to your endless love and support, I have created a lot of good memories. Because of you, my 20s have been very enjoyable.”

In addition, “As I have said before, I’ve always wanted to give back to you for all you’ve done for me. I can only give you the gift of good memories from now on. Let’s meet in two years, and better ourselves till then.”

“I’m looking forward to spending time with you on June 3rd. We will create laugh-loving-filled memories that day. Let us create beautiful memories, like we always have. Thank you and be happy.”

Kim Kyujong will enter the military in July, in which he will be undergoing four weeks military training before beginning his 2 years services.

Officials representing Kim Kyujong have stated that while the singer had the choice to postponed his enlistment, he believed it to be a good idea to do it now so that he could focus on his life afterwards.

Since being active as an SS501 member, Kim Kyujong has been busy releasing a solo album and getting involved in musicals. Kim Kyujong is currently under B2M Entertainment (Lee Hyori’s management) after his DSP Media contract expired.
